Pastor Dewey (shown here taking water from the River Jordan) has been in ministry since 1991, having worked in the forestry industry prior to entering seminary.  He earned his Master's of Divinity at Bangor Theological Seminary. Bangor, Maine, and a Doctor of Ministry from Hartford Seminary, Hartford, CT.  He formerly served at Florence Congregational Church, Florence, Massachusetts, for 13 years.

Helen and Dewey have been married for 25 years.  She has 30+ years of choral/music teaching experience in a variety of churches and with students of all ages.  Her education includes a Bachelor’s degree in music education, a Master’s degree in sacred music, and a Doctorate in liturgy and theology.  She is currently organist/choir director at First Congregational.

Kim has been the church's secretary for three years.  She is responsible for weekly publication of The Messenger and the worship bulletin, along with a variety of publications on our missions, history, and other activities.  She has been key in developing the knitting ministries of the church, obtaining donations of yarn, needles and knitting machines.  Her artistic talents are evident in the displays in Andersen Hall.

Christian Education

Sheri Howe

Our Sunday School is taught by Sheri Howe. The mother of four, grandmother of seven, and great grandmother of ten. Does this woman know kids!!! She believes it is important for children to learn about the teachings and adds a sprinkle of fun along with it. Whether there is one child or twenty, she will be there to nurture their spiritual education.
